If you are a high school student, you should be taking all of the science courses that you can take and if you have any agriculture science courses taught at your school you should take as many of them as you can take as well. If you can find a summer job working on a farm or something related to agriculture it will help you determine the specific area in Ag. you are interested in and help you get a feel for the environment and hours required in the career field.
