To become an athletic trainer, you need at least a bachelor’s degree, though the National Athletic Trainers’ Association reports that 70 percent of athletic trainers have a master’s degree.
If you are interested you should contact you local hospital and ask about a job shadow with their trainers. You can also check with a local gym and ask about the kind of work their employees do for their clients.
