What are employers looking for?
March 11, 2021 at 11:08 am #5677AnonymousInactive00000Employers are looking for candidates who are licensed in their field. If you are applying to be an EMT, they are looking for those who completed and our licensed in the state. EMT training consists of 160 hours of initial training for credentialing. Paramedic’s require more schooling, 1 to 2 years and often they accompany an AAS degree. There are some programs that offer a 1 year option – with no degree. Regardless of what path you choose, employers are looking for someone who can be a team player, follow directions, trustworthy, and can work well with patients. Any prior customer service jobs or experiences are helpful for this, as we are working with people everyday!
