Each classroom typically has fifteen 3–5-year-old kids that come for a half day or full days every other day. The children get dropped off and have some play time, then we have a circle time where the teachers go over calendar. After that we sit at the tables and have breakfast, then we move into small group instruction and then more free play. Before they leave, we have another circle time with all the kids and read a book. Throughout each day the teacher assesses the students and takes care of the student’s social emotional needs. At the end of each class the teacher prepares the lessons, using our curriculum, for the next day and/or group of kids.
