    Where do I start if I want to be a carpenter?

    It is good to take any carpentry courses that your high school offers as a place to start. This will tell you if you will like working as a carpenter. Next check local professionals to see if they might have a part time summer job for you. Finally, check out 2 year colleges for carpentry programs.
