    If I want to be a data administrator where do I start.

    If you are still in high school, take courses in math, computers and economics. Research colleges with computer programs and review their placement data. Colleges with high placement in computer graduates mean that students are getting a quality education. Job shadow a local IT business and ask about a mentor.
