    If I want to be a marine and powersports technician, where do I start?

    If you want to be a Tech you should take any high school courses, like welding, machining, or mechanics. You also want to make sure that you visit with people who are working as technicians. Visit a business and ask if you can take a tour and talk to their employees, buy a powersports magazine and see what new machines they are advertising and how they operate. Do an on-line search about the career and jobs in the field. Visit colleges who offer the tech programs and talk to the instructors.
