What are employers looking for with the people they hire?
March 9, 2021 at 10:11 am #4851AnonymousInactive00000Electricians must have a high school diploma at a minimum. Many electricians attend a technical college that offer a career diploma or certificates for electricians. An Associate of Science degree in electrical technology provides a more comprehensive foundation for this career. Electricians typically complete a four to five year apprenticeship. These apprenticeships include classroom instruction and about 2,000 hours of paid on the job training each year. This makes it possible for apprentices to earn a living will pursuing their career. Licensure is required for electricians in most states.
