What are employers looking for with folks they hire?
March 9, 2021 at 11:54 am #4887AnonymousInactive00000Being a mason does not require any particular post-secondary education, however there are some short technical programs that may be available. This career involves a 3-4 year apprenticeship. Apprentices must complete about 144 hours of technical training and 2,000 hours of on-the-hob training each year. Must be dependable with a great work ethic. Have good communication skills and able to work in a team environment. Must be physically fit, have manual dexterity, creativity and reading skills.
