    What does the future look like for lineman?

    Because of the need for internet and phone connections, there will be stronger grid needed to be upgrades and built. This expansion will continue for many years to come. Utility systems will also need to be upgraded for rural communities as well as larger cities. New forms of cable and tower construction will require that lineman be trained to use these materials, lineman will need continuing education to deal with these changes.
