We can see the growth of innovative technology being utilized that is driven by shifting consumer demand in response to increasing drug prices, the complicated tiers of insurance providers, prior authorization processes, and a growing preference for e-commerce, more patients are choosing online pharmacies to fill their prescriptions. New computer and other technology will continue to be integrated in pharmacy operations so completing continuing education requirements can be expected. There will also be more automation for filling medications as well.
