What does the future look like for welders?
00000The job outlook is good, robotics is growing with in the industry, but I would not say it is replacing jobs, just changing how the welding jobs are performed. Equipment that welders use will not change drastically.

Central Lakes College00000There are robotic welders but they need operators. Welding is a good choice if it is a good fit for an individual. You have to like working in a shop environment.
