Are there jobs for this career?
March 9, 2021 at 2:16 pm #4968AnonymousInactive00000Coaching job availability varies by school district and types of sports offered at a HS. Most schools offer some type of sports for their student athletes. Some high school coaches go on to work in college coaching or may become a scout for college athletes.

The job outlook through 2026 for ALL athletic trainers(not just HS) is 23%. So there are many opportunities. Keep in mind that this position may be part or full time depending upon the school.

Currently the health field has many positions working in retirement centers, with physicians in ambulatory care, and public athletic gyms. Jobs in these areas are expected to double over the next few years.
