    YES. EMT and PARAMEDIC jobs have huge growth in all areas of the country. EMS is a growing field, and some after they start in this field, decide to move on to other areas of health care such as Nursing or Physician Assistants. Many stay and have a very rewarding career in Emergency Medicine.
