What is the best part of your job?
00000That it is constantly changing. As legislatures make changes, we need to keep up-to-date on those changes. New medical codes are published each year. When there are new health issues (ex. Vaping, COVID-19, etc.) we need to make sure we understand the illness, what is required in the medical documentation, the medical codes we need to use, and how to bill for it. There are times we get to inform/teach medical providers and there are times when we learn from them. I feel like a detective at times and enjoy learning new things. I get bored quickly and enjoy that this field is not stagnate.
