How often do you trim or remove trees?

Generally, the best time of year to trim trees and shrubs is late winter; after the coldest freeze of the season has passed, but before the spring thaw. Trimming trees is generally done every 3 to 5 years. Tree removal is done anytime of the year and it is about 25% of my job.
