Its different everyday. It is rewarding to see progress of a project you are working on and seeing a project be built from start to finish.

Central Lakes College00000Each day is different depending on job orders. Use blueprints and calculate dimensions of the metal needing to weld. Inspect materials and structures before welding. Monitor the metal and make sure it does not overheat. Control and monitor the flame and materials. Maintain equipment. Keep the shop and work area clean.
