What is a typical day for a resort manager?
March 10, 2021 at 3:28 pm #5348AnonymousInactive00000As a manager, I start by checking with subordinates to see if there are any issues for the day. Next I walk through resort to make sure everything is clean, supplies are filled and the facility is ready for customers. I also speak to the leaders in each area to make sure they are ready and have no concerns.

Host a pre-shift standup meeting and help with staff assignments. Update room statuses and notify team of room moves, changes, and new arrivals to be cleaned. Inspect units that have been cleaned. Review team productivity and budgetary expenses at the end of the day. Create new schedules, interview applicants, and develop efficiency correction plans.
