What is a typical day like?
00000The day usually starts with a Team Meeting in our Engineering Department. We’ll talk about the projects that are new and ones that we’ve been assigned to work on that may be having challenges. We also attend production meetings and estimating team meetings. The Manufacturing Engineer and/or the Manufacturing Technician decide the best way to manufacture a customer’s order. We figure out each process that the order will need to go through in manufacturing, which machine would be best to use and we program the machine. We are also involved with Quality Assurance to decide the best way to check the order (part) to make sure it is made correctly.
