    There is no typical day. Each day is unique which is why I loved being a patrol officer. In corrections I can say the same thing .

    Work as a team to book in and release inmates, manage housing units and ensure safety and security of the inmates, officers and facility.

    Usually very busy taking care of the inmates in the jail, many various duties from Bookings and releases to laundry exchange and well being checks.

    It is different everyday. talking to inmates, fingerprinting, rounds and many other things.
