    What is a typical day like?

    Each day starts with checking work orders, tools, and parts to make sure I am prepared to either inspect engines following a checklist for routine maintenance, perform tests to diagnose malfunctions or repair Heavy Equipment. Diesel Mechanics work on different types of machines from small to large so there can be something different to do every day.
