    Where should I start if I want to be a lineman?

    Contact an neighbor or your rural utility company and ask about working as a lineman. If you can, tag along with one of the employees to see what their day is like. Check with 2 year colleges to see what type of programs they offer and take a tour of the college, visit with the instructor and students in the program.
