Where do I start if I want to be a nurse?March 10, 2021 at 1:05 pm #5317AnonymousInactive00000
Talk to Natalia DePauw at Central Lakes College. She is the nursing advisor. Or contact one of the nursing faculty. You will want to enter a nationally accredited nursing program. You may need to complete some pre-requisites or general education requirements first. I would strongly recommend taking a Nursing Assistant course and then taking the written and skills test to get your name on the state registry. This will allow you to begin working in healthcare and take advantage of scholarships while you are in nursing school.

Go into the nursing or laboratory field and gain some knowledge and experience first.
